Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Glen Burnie, MD. The assignment runs 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper safety and OSHA compliance. Requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and a valid phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to procedures.
• Centrifuge, package, and transport specimens per test order.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure data accuracy.
