Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens per procedures
• Record maintenance data and ensure sample integrity
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and staff
• package and transport specimens as required
• maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and department trainings
• answer inquiries and review laboratory results as needed
