Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7a–4p, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent employment. Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens according to procedures.
• Record maintenance data, decontaminate equipment and update patient information.
• Collect, store and transport specimens; ensure proper labeling on all test orders.
• Clearly explain venipuncture process to patients in a courteous manner.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and review lab results as needed.
