• Venipuncture experience
• Labeling and handling specimens
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification required

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures and ensures proper labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate techniques using straight or butterfly needles.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity during storage and transport.
• Verify test requisitions match specimens and maintain accurate records.
