Key People is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Farmville, VA. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry. Minimum 2 years of experience required, with certification in phlebotomy and proficiency in OSHA regulations.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and family.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
