ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Anchorage is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to transition to permanent employment. The role includes blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient information. You will work M-F, 8 AM to 5 PM, in a fast-paced lab setting.

Required are a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency with MS Office is a plus. Benefits are available.

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer inquiries about laboratory results.
