Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Fairbanks, AK, for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.

The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and routine lab support in a fast-paced environment. Training and OSHA/DEP compliance are required. Minimum qualifications include a valid state phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required; verify test requisitions for accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature control; follow OSHA/DEP regulations.
