The Recruiting Hive in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a qualified phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You must hold a state phlebotomy certificate, have at least six months venipuncture experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. High school diploma or GED is required. Schedule is 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data and decontamination records.
• Update patient information and ensure specimens are transported per protocol.
• Package and store specimens according to procedures and maintain specimen integrity.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and comply with OSHA regulations.
