Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and decontamination; updating patient information as required.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and ensures correct labeling and transport.
