Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Program Coordinator II to support University Procurement by coordinating the full contract lifecycle. The role ensures contracts are routed, reviewed, executed, and tracked per MUSC policies and applicable regulations, maintaining accurate contract records and timely progression from initiation to final execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, public administration, legal studies, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience: four (4) years may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with contract documentation, systems, or workflows.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Artificial Intelligence tools, and familiarity with contract management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract intake and administration, initiate and maintain contract records in the CMS, coordinate review and redlining with Legal and suppliers, ensure execution readiness and electronic signatures.
• Assist Contract Manager in analyzing and implementing process improvements; help create standardized training materials.
• Maintain databases, dashboards, and provide updates/reports on current contracts.
• Facilitate communication among team members, including Legal, Information Solutions, Finance, and external partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
