Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Program Coordinator II to support University Procurement by coordinating the full contract lifecycle, ensuring contracts are routed, reviewed, executed, and tracked in accordance with MUSC policies and the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code.

The role liaises between Procurement, the Office of General Counsel, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers, supporting process improvements and contract-management systems while contributing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, procurement, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant program, procurement, or contract administration experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with contract documentation, systems, or workflows.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with contract management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract intake and administration process, including initiating and maintaining records in the contract management system and preparing for execution.
• Assist in analyzing and implementing process improvements; help create standardized training materials.
• Maintain databases, dashboards, and provide updates on current contracts in process.
• Facilitate communication among Legal, Information Solutions, Finance, and internal/external partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
