Job summary

Valor Healthcare, Inc. is seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide individual and group psychotherapy for veterans and military members.

You will conduct cognitive screenings, psychosocial assessments, and crisis interventions while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate referrals to community resources and benefits. Applicants must have state licensure, PsyPact, and a minimum of two years of independent practice; experience with veterans' care and DSM-5-based

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice independently in any state (Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW).
• PsyPact in addition to state license.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field, or doctoral degree in psychology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing therapy independently.
• Preferred experience with veterans and military members.
• Experience with DSM-5 clinical presentations and evidence-based interventions.
• Knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment, and crisis procedures.
• Experience in Veterans' Hospital PTSD and MHC settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for mental health presentations and psychosocial stressors.
• Provide cognitive screenings and clinical assessments.
• Deliver crisis management and emergency interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate referrals.
• Document assessments and treatment plans according to regulations and DSM criteria.
