Job summary

Tucker Parker Smith Group seeks a Contracts Associate to support the Legal Department of a biotechnology company in a 1-year contract role. You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage a high volume of contracts with Legal, Procurement, and internal teams.

This is a hands-on opportunity for recent graduates or contract administration professionals, offering exposure to NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and CLM systems within a collaborative corporate legal environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite in San Rafael on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and change orders using approved templates.
• Track and manage contracts from initial drafting through final execution using CLM systems.
• Research existing supplier agreements and contracting relationships.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to facilitate contract execution.
• Ensure compliance with company contracting policies and procedures.
• Identify contractual issues and elevate complex matters to legal counsel as needed.
• Maintain contract records, templates, and documentation.
• Support process improvements and other Legal Department initiatives.
