Job summary

BioMarin seeks a Contracts Associate to join our Legal Department to draft, negotiate, track, and manage a high volume of contracts. You will use templates and CLM systems, ensuring policy compliance and timely execution across the organization.

Recent graduates are eligible to apply. The role is hybrid with in-office Tuesdays/Thursdays, and BioMarin offers onsite amenities including collaborative spaces and an in-house coffee bar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; recent graduates eligible to apply.
• Detail oriented with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn new contract systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a variety of company agreements using BioMarin templates.
• Utilize CLM systems and playbooks to manage contract lifecycles.
• Monitor contracts from draft to final signatures and ensure compliance.
• Serve as liaison between Legal, GSP, business partners, and external parties.
• Support template maintenance, training, and process improvements.
