Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Contract Shared Service Specialist to serve as the primary HR contact for North America. You will handle onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and HR data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite Newark, CA role is a ~6-month contract, collaborating with Internal Audit, Legal, Immigration, and HR partners to ensure accurate service delivery for employees across North America.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of HR generalist/HR operations experience, or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, or SOX processes is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS and ticketing systems (SuccessFactors, Jira, ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR Helpdesk tickets and provide Tier 1 guidance or routing to the appropriate HR partner.
• Triage incoming cases, analyze requests, and determine resolution or escalation paths.
• Maintain detailed case documentation, ensure SLAs are met, and manage data updates.
• Oversee onboarding and pre-boarding for North America, including I-9 verification and HRIS documentation.
• Prepare documentation and process routine HR transactions, payroll history, and HRIS updates.
• Coordinate international transfers, contractor conversions, and work authorization for NA employees.
• Support Internal Audit, Legal, Immigration, and HRIS with compliance, risk, and data needs.
