Job summary

Lucid Motors in Casa Grande, AZ seeks an onsite Contract Shared Service Specialist to be the primary HR contact for North America. You will own onboarding, routine HR transactions, and support for compliance, audits, and risk with collaboration across Internal Audit, Legal, Immigration, and HRIS to ensure data accuracy and timely service.

The role requires 4–5 years in HR generalist/operations or 2+ years with a Bachelor’s.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in an HR generalist, HR assistant, HR operations, or compliance-focused role, or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, or SOX-related processes is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS and ticketing systems such as SuccessFactors Employee Central, Workforce Software, Ceridian Dayforce, Greenhouse ATS, Jira, ServiceNow, or Smartsheet (preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in handling employee data and documentation.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong customer service orientation, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR helpdesk tickets, providing Tier 1 guidance or routing inquiries to the appropriate HR partner.
• Triage incoming cases, analyze requests, and determine resolution or escalation path.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to resolve escalated issues and ensure timely case closure.
• Maintain detailed case documentation, including troubleshooting steps and resolution notes.
• Monitor open cases to ensure SLAs are met and follow up as needed.
• Help curate and maintain HR knowledge base content for accuracy and usability.
• Maintain employee files and HRIS records with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage pre-boarding and onboarding activities for North America, including I-9 verification and new-hire logistics.
• Prepare documentation and process HR transactions, and perform data entry and reconciliation tasks related to pay and history.
• Oversee international transfers, contractor conversions, and work authorization for NA employees.
• Facilitate cross-functional HR partner conversations to handle escalations and sensitive matters.
• Provide HR support to Internal Audit, Legal, Immigration, and HRIS teams.
• Oversee labor law posting compliance for onsite and remote employees.
• Complete government information requests and subpoenas.
• Lead cross-functional risk evaluations for new remote locations and coordinate with HR for tax liability assessments.
• Own vendor relationship management for HR-related services.
