ProSearch is seeking a Provider Services Representative for a five-month, hybrid role in Portland, ME. You will support healthcare providers with benefits, eligibility, plan coverage, and policy inquiries by phone, researching details and providing accurate information.

No prior provider services experience is required; strong customer service and quick data-entry skills will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a larger team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Strong phone-based customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with quick and accurate data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organization, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to research information and problem-solve.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a larger team.
• Professional, patient, and adaptable when handling stressful or complicated situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls and questions from healthcare providers and related organizations
• Assist with questions regarding benefits, eligibility, coverage, policies, and other health plan information
• Research issues and provide accurate information based on established policies and procedures
• Document calls, questions, and resolutions clearly and accurately
• Follow up on issues that cannot be resolved during the initial interaction
• Navigate multiple systems while speaking with providers
• Collaborate with other departments to research and resolve more complex questions
• Maintain professional and helpful communication, even during challenging interactions
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
