Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC seeks a qualified Electrical Engineer for Plant Systems Engineering to design and integrate BOS electrical and I&C systems for NuScale SMR projects. You will coordinate with internal and external teams, resolve design issues, and support project scope from planning through execution.

The role requires a minimum 5 years of experience in power/electrical design, familiarity with NRC guidelines, IEEE/NFPA standards, and the ability to travel as needed for business needs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Active PE license is desirable but not required.
• Experience with AC power systems across voltage classes and I&C systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop design requirements for BOS electrical and I&C systems.
• Provide technical oversight to design partners on BOS electrical and I&C designs.
• Prepare and review technical documents to support projects.
• Plan and organize assignments in a team environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate design activities and resolve issues.
