Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator-Contract Administrator to support government and public-agency projects by ensuring contract and financial compliance with contract requirements. You will work with Project Management, Project Controls, Project Accounting, and Marketing to reduce risk and keep teams focused on delivery.

The role coordinates contract requirements, subconsultant compliance, and cross-functional risk management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of consulting and/or public-agency contract administration and applicable procurement laws.
• Experience interpreting policies, contracts, budgets, and cost/pricing information.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, issue-resolution, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing contract documentation and proposal responses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial terms and rates are applied correctly and consistently.
• Track and report project cost performance; prepare month-end reports for management and clients.
• Provide contract compliance guidance to project teams.
• Coordinate with Project Controls and Project Accounting to confirm invoices align with contractual requirements and approved rates.
• Maintain auditable contract and financial records per client and company standards.
