Garcoa, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Bookkeeper to handle core transaction processing and administrative record-keeping on an as‑needed basis.

This role focuses on day‑to‑day invoice processing, data entry, and documentation management during busy periods or specific project cycles. Responsibilities include processing AP invoices, customer invoicing, filing, inventory entries, tax data gathering, and reconciling bank statements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or data entry experience, contract or freelance a plus.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 preferred; Sage 100 or similar ERP is a plus.
• Basic transaction processing and general ledger data entry understanding.
• Proficient in Excel for data entry, formulas, sorting and filtering.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process accounts payable invoices and log vendor payments.
• Prepare customer invoices, process receipts, and record payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, and docs.
• Assist with inventory entries, count adjustments, and record updates.
• Gather data for sales tax filings and compliance needs.
• Research and resolve vendor or customer account discrepancies.
• Perform routine data entry, ledger maintenance, and admin tasks.
• Maintain SKU pricing and BOM database.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
