Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage contract portfolios, analyze billing terms, and process invoices in a cross-functional finance team. You will enter contracts and amendments, reconcile GL accounts, and coordinate with project managers to secure timely approvals.

The role requires an accounting/finance degree and 5+ years of related experience, with strong proficiency in SAP and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts and billing matters as liaison for contract field personnel.
• Review contracts for billing specifics such as fixed fees, reimbursements, and pass-through items.
• Identify amendments and annual rate escalations and input into the billing system.
• Produce monthly customer invoices for fixed fee and variable components timely and accurately.
• Reconcile related general ledger accounts (unbilled revenue, deferred revenue) with contract timing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Administrative Assistants to obtain approvals and respond to inquiries.
• Provide backup support and ensure continuity of billing activities.
