Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to support the customer billing process across a portfolio of contracts. You will review agreements, input data into the billing system, and manage annual rate escalations with cross-functional coordination.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Google Suite and SAP to produce accurate invoices and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• 5+ years of related accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts and related Profit Centers; serve as billing liaison.
• Review contracts for Fixed Fees, Pass-through, and revenue components.
• Identify amendments and annual rate escalation provisions; enter data into billing system.
• Produce monthly invoices for fixed fee and variable components.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to billing, including unbilled revenue.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for required approvals and data clarity.
• Maintain internal controls within the billing processes.
• Provide backup support and assist with annual reconciliations.
