Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a profes­sional billing accountant to manage contract portfolios and drive accurate monthly invoices. You will review terms, prepare SOPs, and coordinate with field teams to secure approvals.

The role requires strong analytical skills and experience with SAP and Google Suite. Responsibilities include reconciliation of GL accounts, handling rate escalations, and ensuring internal control compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years minimum related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts and associated Profit Centers; serve as primary liaison for billing matters.
• Review contracts for billing specifics: Fixed Fees, Expense reimbursements, Pass-through, and revenue streams.
• Enter contracts/amendments and escalation provisions into the billing system.
• Produce monthly customer invoices for fixed fee and variable components.
• Reconcile related general ledger accounts including accrued unbilled revenue and deferred revenues.
