Holly Poultry, Inc. is hiring a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist for a 90-day assignment starting in November. The role requires meticulous handling of vendor invoices, payments, and related administrative support within our accounting team.

You will monitor AP emails, code invoices to the correct accounts, coordinate approvals, and reconcile statements while aiming to improve processes. A minimum of five years' AP experience and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience.
• Food service industry experience preferred.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Monitor Accounts Payables emails daily and manage all incoming invoices and vendor inquiries.
• Match invoices with receiving documents and purchase orders; code and post to accounting system.
• Distribute invoices to department heads for approval.
• Maintain tracking system for invoices awaiting approval.
• Coordinate and resolve cost discrepancies with buyers.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Perform AP vendor maintenance.
• Distribute mail daily.
• Contribute to process improvements with AP Manager and Corporate Controller.
