Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Training Specialist to develop and deliver staff development programs within the Continuous Improvement, Staff Development and Engagement unit. You will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives, including PDCA/PDSA cycles, RCA, and FMEA, to improve campus processes.

The role requires experience in curriculum development, project management, and proficient use of Tableau, MadCap Flare, and Storyline, with a tendency

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in a training or teaching role including curriculum development, needs assessment, and session evaluation.
  • Ability to lead teams to timely, successful project completion and to provide guidance for staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate continuous improvement projects within the CISDE unit.
  • Lead PDCA or PDSA cycles and conduct RCA, FMEA, and process mapping.
  • Support lean six sigma initiatives and mentor staff on KPI achievement.
  • Provide guidance for ongoing implementation and maintenance of training programs.
