We are a rapidly expanding organization committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. We are looking for a new Continuous Improvement Engineer to help us transform with structure, standardization, and Lean methodologies. Join us in shaping a culture where continuous improvement is the foundation of everything we do. Internally, we call this role Lean Master Engineer.

Salary Range: $81,000 - $110,000, based on experience

Travel: approximately 10-20% domestic travel to our other manufacturing plants

Core Contributions
  • Lead and implement Lean transformation initiatives across departments to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S audits, and Value Stream Mapping sessions to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
  • Mentor and train team members on Lean principles, tools, and techniques, ensuring long-term adoption and sustainability.
  • Analyze operations and identify key areas of improvement using Lean methodologies such as DMAIC, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and implementing process improvements that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics to measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions to promote consistent practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments of Lean initiatives to measure success, identify areas for refinement, and ensure scalability of improvements.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching, feedback, and encouragement to employees.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure the integration of Lean principles into the organization's strategic planning and decision-making.
Essential Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or higher) preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement roles, preferably in manufacturing or operations
  • Deep expertise in Lean principles, tools, and techniques, including Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and TPM
  • Experience leading successful Lean transformation initiatives and driving measurable results
