What You'll Get to Do

The Continuous Improvement Engineer III focuses on leading continuous improvement initiatives and reports to the Director of Operations.

This role is ideal for someone eager to make an impact. As a vital member of the Continuous Improvement Team, this position offers an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching, coaching, and guiding at all levels on tools and processes such as Value Stream Mapping, time studies, Kaizen events, Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, Job Element Sheets, root cause analysis (5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagram, A3), NPI validation, test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and statistical analysis.
  • Leading activities to incorporate the voice of the customer and addressing complex problems with innovative perspectives.
  • Applying knowledge of best practices and understanding how job functions integrate with other areas; being aware of market competition and differentiators.
  • Leading lean initiatives internally and externally to foster continuous improvement.
  • Coaching and mentoring others in problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective countermeasures.
What We Are Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience, with mastery or mentorship in Toyota Production Systems, quality systems, statistical tools, lean concepts, and procedures.
  • Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risks, or complexity.
  • Experience in leading and teaching best practices to improve manufacturing, products, or services.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering) or equivalent experience with 10+ years of related training or work experience.
