Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Continuity Manager to lead development and enhancement of business continuity (BC) and IT disaster recovery (ITDR) capabilities for critical federal operations. You will conduct BIA and risk assessments, align plans with NIST, ISO, and ITIL, and work with IT operations, cybersecurity, and governance teams to ensure readiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent with 8+ years in BC/DR or risk roles
• Experience with ITIL, NIST, ISO frameworks
• Ability to conduct BIA and risk assessments
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BC/DR policies, standards, and playbooks aligned with NIST, ISO, and government regulations.
• Perform business impact analyses and identify recovery objectives across services.
• Coordinate maintenance of continuity plans for applications, infrastructure, facilities, personnel, and vendor services.
• Plan and evaluate tabletop exercises and failover tests; drive remediation.
• Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, incident response, governance, and vendors to embed continuity into projects and changes.
• Produce continuity and resilience metrics, dashboards, and audit-ready reports for leadership and compliance.
• Lead investigations following incidents; guide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide training and mentoring on resilience best practices to IT teams.
