Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Business Continuity Manager in Montgomery, AL to lead enterprise-wide BC, COOP, and DR programs. You will coordinate recovery with internal teams, IT partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure resilience of Medicaid functions and technology services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Crisis Management
• Knowledge of COOP methodologies and DR frameworks (NIST, FEMA, ISO 22301)
• BIAs, risk assessments, and continuity planning experience
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and backup/recovery technologies
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, incident response, and standards like HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001
• Excellent communication and ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Emergency Management, IT, or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise BC/COOP/DR programs
• Ensure resilience of Medicaid functions and technology services during disruptions
• Coordinate recovery efforts across internal teams, IT partners, vendors, and contractors
• Develop robust plans, conduct risk assessments, and lead simulations to validate readiness
• Oversee vendor recovery strategies and ensure compliance with standards
• Provide training to business units to foster preparedness and resilience
