Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of BC and IT disaster recovery capabilities across federal operations.

The role conducts risk assessments, develops recovery plans, and coordinates exercises, aligning with NIST, ISO, and ITIL 4 practices. You will provide dashboards and audit-ready reporting to leadership in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in continuity, disaster recovery, IT operations, incident management, or risk roles.
• Solid understanding of BC/DR, risk assessments, BIA, and ITIL.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain continuity plans and coordinate recovery activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, translating technical concepts for leadership.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise continuity and IT disaster recovery policies and playbooks aligned with NIST, ISO, and regulations.
• Perform business impact analyses and risk assessments identifying critical functions and dependencies.
• Coordinate creation and review of continuity and recovery plans for applications, infrastructure, and vendors.
• Plan and evaluate tabletop exercises, simulations, and tests; drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, incident response, and vendors to integrate requirements.
• Produce continuity metrics, dashboards, and leadership reports including readiness and incident outcomes.
• Lead or support investigations following incidents; guide root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Serve as SME in resilience, continuity, and recovery; provide training and mentorship.
