Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, seeks a Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of business continuity and IT disaster recovery capabilities across the federal IT landscape.

You will conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses, plan tests and tabletop exercises, coordinate with IT operations and governance, and deliver audit-ready metrics to leadership to strengthen resilience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, IT operations, incident management, or risk management.
• Solid understanding of BC/DR principles, risk assessments, BIA, and ITIL.
• Proven ability to develop, document, and maintain continuity plans across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to present to leadership.
• Active SECRET security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise continuity and IT disaster recovery policies, standards, and playbooks.
• Perform BIAs and risk assessments to identify critical functions, RTOs, RPOs, and dependencies.
• Coordinate creation and review of continuity plans for applications, infrastructure, facilities, personnel, and vendors.
• Plan and evaluate tabletop exercises, simulations, and failover tests; drive remediation.
• Collaborate with IT ops, cybersecurity, incident response, and vendors to integrate continuity into projects.
• Produce continuity metrics and dashboards for leadership and compliance.
• Lead investigations with ITIL-aligned root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance on resilience best practices.
