Job summary

OpenAI in San Francisco is seeking a Content Studio Creative Lead to build and lead a centralized content studio serving the broader creative team. You will be both a senior maker and a capability builder, shaping the studio’s approach, talent network, and quality standards with Production.

You will balance hands-on content creation with systems thinking, partnering with leaders, researchers, and external partners to tell compelling stories for web, social, and the OpenAI brand.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building or scaling a content/production/studio capability.
• Proven portfolio across multiple formats and channels.
• Ability to lead while remaining hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

• Define the content studio’s creative vision, strategy, and quality measures, and partner on workflows.
• Identify the right creative talent and partners across internal teams, freelancers, and agencies.
• Create reusable formats, playbooks, and standards for fast, high-quality output across channels.
• Prioritize requests and align scope, budget, and craft for each project.
