Democracy Forward seeks a Content Strategist to enhance their social media presence and engage supporters. The role involves developing content strategies, managing social media operations, and analyzing performance metrics. This full-time position allows for some remote work but requires in-office presence.

Democracy Forward is seeking Content Strategists to help tell the story of our work across social platforms, grow our base of supporters, and advance the fight for democracy. The position is part of the Policy & Public Affairs team and reports to the Director of Digital Strategy.
We’re looking for someone who can shape a compelling narrative across platforms and turn complex legal work into accessible, engaging stories. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our social media presence and help set and execute a long-term content strategy that reflects our values, voice, and vision.
This position is full-time. Democracy Forward’s office is located in Washington, DC. While this position offers flexibility to work remotely, it requires regular in-office presence of at least eight (8) days per month (averaging about 2 times per week) to effectively support the nature of the role.
The salary range for the Content Strategist position is $60,000-$80,000 and $90,000 - $110,000 for the Senior Content Strategist, plus excellent benefits. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
