Job summary

Republic Services in the United States seeks a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld, and paint containers and roll-off boxes. You will weld steel and aluminum using MIG/ARC, fabricate parts with brake and shear, and cut steel with plasma or torch. You’ll install lids, wheels, and decals, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified welder with demonstrated welding skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG and ARC welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers is beneficial.
• Familiar with basic use of hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Repair and maintain front, rear, and roll-off containers.
• Fabricate steel components using brake and shear.
• Cut steel with plasma cutter or torch.
• Install lids and wheels on containers; paint repaired containers.
• Complete required paperwork; follow safety policies.
