Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to perform welding, fabrication, painting, and maintenance on our front, rear, and roll-off containers. You will weld steel and aluminum parts using MIG and ARC processes, fabricate components, and install lids and wheels.

The role requires a certified welder with advanced MIG/ARC knowledge, plasma cutting, and paint-spraying skills, plus attention to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified welder and proficient with MIG/ARC welding. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with basic hand tools and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of front, rear and roll-off containers; weld steel and aluminum components.
• Fabricate steel components using brake and shear; cut steel with plasma cutter or torch.
• Install lids and wheels; paint repaired containers; complete required paperwork and decals.
