Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld and paint front, rear and roll-off containers in Bryan, Ohio. You will weld steel and aluminum parts using MIG and ARC processes, fabricate components with brake and shear, and cut steel with plasma or torch.

You will also install lids, wheels and decals while keeping paperwork accurate. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and thorough communication with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified welder required.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG & ARC welders, plasma cutter, and airless spray painters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year welding experience or completion of a welding program.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricates steel components using brake and shear.
• Cuts steel with plasma cutter or torch.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired containers.
• Completes required paperwork and follows safety policies.
• Refer more complex repairs to supervisor.
• Install company and safety decals on containers.
