Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, fabricate and paint containers in Saint Louis, MO. You will weld steel and aluminum using MIG/ARC methods, cut and shape components with plasma and torches, and install lids and wheels.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation and teamwork in a hands-on shop setting. Qualifications include certified welding status and 1+ year experience or completion of a welding program; strong communication and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• Certified welder with proven welding skills.
• Experience with MIG and ARC welding and plasma cutting.
• Ability to operate airless paint sprayers and basic hand tools.
• Good written and verbal communication; follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricate steel components with brake and shear; cut steel with plasma torch.
• Paint repaired containers and install lids and wheels.
