Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join its AmLaw 100 Consumer Financial Services practice.

The role involves representing banks, lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in disputes involving loan servicing practices, credit reporting matters, and related consumer financial services litigation across multiple U.S. office locations.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing, analytical, and professional judgment.
• Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
