Job summary

The premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney with at least three years of litigation experience. The position may be based in any U.S.

office location and involves representing banks, lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in a broad range of consumer financial services litigation. You will work within a collaborative team on matters involving loan servicing practices, credit reporting, and related federal and state consumer

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team
