Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to drive efficient operations in your assigned department, including inventory, pricing, merchandising and customer service. You will ensure accurate stock, execute price changes, and maintain a clean, inviting department consistent with company standards.

You will lead by example, supervise shopping floor activities, assist customers, and coordinate cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with hours including nights and weekends.
• Comfort with computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to merchandising standards and appealing displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory through counts and scanning outs.
• Oversee recovery to keep department neat and inviting.
• Execute price changes and update signage.
• Manage playbook features and planogram sets.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the department.
• Provide customer service and assist with inquiries.
• Support front-end transactions as needed.
• Operate store equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Cross-train across departments.
• Engage in training programs and learn new skills.
• Provide proactive internal and external support.
• Uphold Rural King’s Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
