Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to drive the efficient operations of your assigned department, including scanning outs, inventory management, price changes, planogram sets, and maintaining high standards.

You will supervise merchandising displays, monitor stock levels, support front-end transactions, and provide friendly customer service. Cross-training and growth opportunities align with Rural King's People First values.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide to maintain displays and signing per company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels with regular stock counts and replenishment from stockroom.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat, organized and appealing.
• Coordinate and execute price changes with relevant teams and update signage.
• Manage implementation of playbook features and planogram sets per guidelines.
• Maintain department cleanliness and uphold sanitation and safety protocols.
• Provide friendly, proactive customer service and assist with inquiries to boost satisfaction.
• Support front-end by processing transactions or loadouts as required.
• Operate general office and store floor equipment as needed.
• Participate in cross-training across departments for flexibility.
• Engage in training programs and learning initiatives to stay current.
