Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to inspect and evaluate vegetation along utility lines in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate crews, communicate results and work with clients to ensure compliant line clearance operations.

The role requires field readiness, strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks across a geographic area. Competitive benefits and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of utility vegetation management or related field experience (5 years can replace diploma).
• 2 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; GIS data collection experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized and production oriented; able to work independently over a geographic area.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to liaise with clients and crews.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with clear recommendations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews and client customers.
