Qualifications

The work

You will help evaluate AI systems that handle passport and citizenship topics. The work calls for careful judgment about identity, eligibility, citizenship, and travel-document scenarios.

You will review sample questions, define what accurate and complete answers should include, and assess AI-generated responses against those standards. Written feedback is provided asynchronously.

• Evaluate AI-generated answers for errors, missing information, and outdated guidance.

What it pays and takes

• Pay: $50 to $70 per hour.
• Hours: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Open to candidates in the United States.
• Work type: Contract and part-time.
• Required experience: Former work in a State Department passport agency as a Passport Specialist or Adjudicator, or in a consular section as a Consular Officer.
• Required background: At least one year adjudicating or advising on passport or citizenship matters, with working knowledge of citizenship and nationality rules and passport eligibility.
• Language: Fluent in English.

• Helpful experience: Document fraud detection, name-change and identity-documentation cases, guides or frequently asked questions, training materials, or assisting non-English-speaking customers.
