Job summary

The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Wage Enforcement Analyst in the Labor Standards Unit. You will monitor certified payrolls, review wage determinations, and conduct real-time field monitoring of construction sites to ensure compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and City prevailing wage requirements.

Under supervision, you will assess workforce practices, enforce standards, and support the administration of open-competitive examinations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the preparation and processing of payroll or contractual documents in a construction, legal, or social service agency and/or experience in monitoring construction projects to ensure compliance.
• Possession of a valid proper class motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review certified payrolls to ensure correct wage determinations.
• Conduct real-time field-based monitoring of construction sites for wage and workforce compliance.
• Enforce Davis-Bacon Act, Department of Labor and Industry standards, and City of Philadelphia Prevailing Wage requirements.
