Job summary

MaziCTools is seeking a Part-Time Construction Trades Instructor to develop and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based programs for charter high school students in Los Angeles. You will lead teens through construction tasks and related green career pathways, including safety, NCCER certification, and entrepreneurship components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years related professional experience working with youth in a construction setting required.
• Knowledge of local construction industry, occupational outlook and employment competencies; urban agriculture experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct groups of 10 to 20 teens in construction curriculum and tasks.
• Develop curricula and program activities; prepare outlines and participate in PD.
• Recruit and onboard program participants; communicate with families/caregivers.
