About the position

The Construction Ready Instructor is responsible for delivering an approved curriculum to students in our 20‑day training program at locations in Georgia & Florida. This role is crucial in equipping trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the construction industry. The instructor will engage students through a variety of teaching methods, ensuring that the NCCER-accredited curriculum is effectively communicated and understood. The goal is to prepare trainees for successful careers by helping them graduate with industry-recognized credentials. In this position, the instructor will develop and deliver training programs that adhere to NCCER standards and guidelines. Punctuality and dependability are essential, as the instructor must prepare materials and the classroom in advance of each session. The role requires the use of diverse instructional methods to accommodate various learning styles, including lectures, hands‑on activities, and demonstrations. Assessing trainee knowledge through written and practical evaluations is also a key responsibility. The instructor will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in construction safety and skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and collaboration among students. Collaboration with industry partners is necessary to ensure that training programs align with current workforce needs. The instructor must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines consistently. Knowledge of technology and online learning resources is also required to enhance the learning experience.

  • Maintain accurate records of student work and attendance.
  • Counsel students regarding their grades and progress in the course.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
Qualifications
  • NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) - Current.
  • OSHA Authorized Trainer - Construction.
  • ATSSA Certified Trainer.
  • Teaching experience is highly desirable.
