Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking a Contract Recruiter to drive recruitment strategies and execution across the company. The role supports proactive sourcing, campus recruitment, and the McGough Internship Program while coordinating the full hiring process with hiring managers and the TA team.

You will build and maintain talent pipelines, relationships with post-secondary schools and external networks, and manage recruiter or search firm partnerships to ensure best-fit hires and timely staffing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical recruiting or sourcing.
• Experience recruiting within the construction industry.
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems, job boards and online tools.
• Knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute McGough’s recruitment processes and goals for multiple roles.
• Support proactive sourcing and talent-pipeline development.
• Coordinate the hiring process to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Director, Talent Acquisition, TA team and Hiring Managers.
• Assist with campus recruitment and McGough Internship Program.
• Build relationships with prospective talent, internal staff, networks and schools.
• Oversee relationships with recruiter/search firms and vendors.
• Manage pre-hire activities and onboarding with the TA team.
