Job summary

Bristol Companies is seeking a Construction Surveillance Engineer to support the Navy at NAS Corpus Christi and Kingsville. The role involves QA, inspection, scheduling analysis, and contract administration across repair, demolition, and new construction projects.

Qualifications

Minimum seven (7) years as Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Project Engineer or Quality Control Manager on facilities/contracts over $5 million.
Proven ability to verify workmanship and construction quality.
Familiarity with scheduling methods and Primavera Suretrak/P3/P6 and MS Project.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; RS Means/CostWorks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate requested outages, permits, routes, and other items from the construction contractor.
Attend meetings, take notes, and brief FEAD/ROICC or representative.
Provide construction briefings and reports; review government submissions.
Monitor CQC compliance, safety, and environmental requirements.
Prepare CRRs and CCCNs; document non-compliance incidents.
Witness testing of systems and review daily CQC/CPR reports.
Assist with pre-final inspections and modification negotiations.
Maintain electronic submittals and documents in eCMS.
Develop independent cost estimates and narrative impact assessments for changes.
