Job summary

JKL Associates, a Division of PUSH, is seeking a Superintendent to manage and mentor project foremen and crews, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and profitability across assigned projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers and engineers.

The role requires five years of supervisory utility construction experience, with the ability to travel 100% and work outdoors. CDL is preferred; strong planning and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years supervisory experience within a utility construction setting.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead teams.
• Valid Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and mentor Foreman and crews to ensure on-time completion while meeting financial and non-financial objectives.
• Staff projects, actively recruit new talent, and promote career advancement.
• Manage employee relations, recognition, discipline, and performance evaluations.
• Recruit subcontractors for approval and coordinate training for personnel.
• Plan and schedule projects, monitor productivity, safety, and quality, and resolve issues.
• Approve daily time records, invoices, and paperwork; oversee site documentation.
