Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Superintendent 3 in Austin, TX to plan, manage and execute projects with moderate complexity. You will lead the team, oversee scheduling, safety, quality and costs to achieve timely, profitable completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Manages and oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO for a small project or a major portion of a larger project.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages the care, custody and control of the project site.
